Hello, Is It "E" You're Looking For...

I have been racking my brain for the past 10 minutes on how to start my first post, but alas, nothing witty is coming to me as it creeps closer to midnight. My fingers are stiff as I type this, mostly because they are cold from the persistent air coming from my dorm room air-conditioner... I prefer to sleep at a cooler temperature than most, don't judge. ;-)

I guess I should introduce myself, why I am writing this blog and so on. My name is Erin, and that is all I care to give away. I am not here for fame or fortune, followers or fans. I am here for me. Simple as that. I apologize in being so selfish. My love for writing has been building this passion inside of me for quite some time, I figured I should find an outlet and see where it leads. Who knows, this may be the only post I ever submit. It could also be the first of many. Whatever your reasons for stumbling upon my little blog, welcome. Know that you are loved...in some way, shape or form. ^_^ 

In the words of Fergie, and I seriously cannot believe I am about to quote Fergie, no offense to Fergie, but "The path I am walking, I must go alone. I must take the baby steps til' I'm full grown, full grown." This blog is an opportunity for me to maybe, possibly, figure out my life and where it is going. I mean, I do have a plan...we all have a general idea of where we are going, don't we? It is the getting there that gets me is all. You are welcome to join me on my journey, wherever it leads. Buckle down and prepare for an adventure! :-) If I somehow end up inspiring someone along the way, that would be pretty cool... but I'm not going to count my chickens before they hatch. To inspire someone means I would have to get at least one viewer...and post a few more times. That may take awhile, but I am okay with that.

As I look at the clock on my computer I have come to the realization that I probably should head to bed. Class in the morning. Meh. :-/ I need to start having a more positive outlook on the week. Way to start off Monday with the stereo-typical case of the "Blahs." I am alive. I have much to be thankful for.
